After listening to this song, I thought it was okay. The lyrics are very simple, there’s not much variation, so they are not very distinguished in a sense of creativity. The beat was mellow and compares greatly to that of Maroon 5's current musical pieces. Songs like Maps, Sugar, and Misery are a great example. The song plays the role of sharing a feeling of self preservation and unified domestic tranquility. The purpose of the song seems cliche, as it's uncommon for artists to talk about the Earth and our love for it as a main message. This leads me to believe this song might've been paid for by a environmentalist organization. Of course without evidence, this is only a thought.
