The BotsIQ teams are going strong with around three months left until the competition. Back in December, last year's three teams (Nebula, Samaritan, and Omega) took their bots head to head in a

friendly match against West Bend, the only other school participating in the winter competition. While Slinger suffered a fairly decisive defeat, the experience taught the bot teams some valuable

lessons for the Spring competition. Due to work and other projects, some of the members have had to take on a somewhat secondary role, but this gives newer members a good opportunity to

gain experience with the design and machining processes for the bots. Currently, plans are still to take multiple bots to the spring competition, much like last year. The teams are hoping to top the

excellent successes of last year, including 2nd place in competition and 1st place in engineering documentation.
