Madeline Hoitink, Co Editor-in-Chief

Posted June 2nd, 2017

Over the years, the Nite Crier has improved and evolved tremendously, and I am very grateful that I was able to see that happen. I started writing for our school newspaper freshman year as the the sports editor. I remember being extremely intimidated interviewing senior athletes and other students. Now, I have shared the position of Co-Editor-in-Chief with Abbie this year, and it's been one of our best. From sophomore to junior year, I was able to see the transition from a newspaper to our website. I think this transition benefitted us greatly. Thank you to Mr. Wolf for everything; much of the Nite Crier’s success is thanks to him and his motivation! The Nite Crier staff is full of many talented writers, so I can't wait to see what the future holds for our Slinger High School newspaper!
