On April 26th and 27th Slinger’s Skills USA team attended the state competition in Madison. 23 students competed, and 9 of those brought home medals. Overall, it was a great performance.

Katie Meyer took gold in screen printing technology, Kevin Remmick and Mikena Wantz took gold in Promotional Bulletin board, and Noah Schilling took gold in Photography. All of these qualify for the national competition in Louisville this summer. Additionally Katie Meyer and Brady Hattori took gold for Trading pin design. On top of this, Nick Mergener, Zak Schuster, and Taylor Schroeder took bronze in automated manufacturing. Congratulations all, and good luck at Nationals!
