The Great Minds of the Western World is a class that Mrs. Erdmann teaches for .5 credit. In this class you learn about popular artists, composers, and authors of earlier centuries.

I loved this class. Mrs. Erdmann is so passionate about what she teaches and that’s what causes the class to be so successful. She allows the class to have an open atmosphere where you can just speak out and talk without having to raise your hand or feel frightened.

The content of the class is interesting because it has such a large range. All of the class is on the artistic spectrum, so you must be interested in art, but it ranges from floral, girly art to dark, gory art.

The only flaw I would say that this class has it that Mrs. Erdmann uses scantrons so you don’t see what answers you get wrong on the tests, which means you don’t know what you got wrong.

Otherwise, I highly recommend this class to any artistic person or anyone interested in learning about art!
