The construction is in full swing and actually is almost complete. Hard to believe, huh? I know everyone’s excited about the choir rooms, band rooms, and auditorium moving, but I’m more curious about the fitness side of it. So after lifetime fitness one day, I asked Ms. Reichle about it.

She told me the construction workers have been really good about not disturbing their classes, besides the other day when they weren’t allowed in the fitness center so we had to do yoga in the little room that leads up to the mezzanine. The construction workers have been in there a couple times that we’ve been in there, but we just did our own things.

She also informed me that the move means the fitness center is gaining eight hundred square feet. There’s a lot more space to exercise and teach classes. Ms. Reichle is very excited about that part.

From my personal experiences in her lifetime fitness class, I have some experiences with the move. One is the day when we did yoga instead of our daily work, another is the couple of times the construction workers have been in there the same time as us, and the final event is when the equipment got moved up to the other part of the gym.

Overall, the construction sounds very interesting and useful. It’s a good and exciting time to be a Slinger Owl!
