Faculty defeat Seniors in basketball game classic

On Friday, April 15th staff members and students from the class of 2016 faced off and tested their skills in the annual Faculty versus Senior basketball game. The faculty secured another victory with a final score of 61-49.

This tradition was created by Slinger High School’s principal, Mr. Ourada, four years ago when he first began working at Slinger. This was also the class of 2016’s freshman year, making this senior class the first to experience four games. Mr. Karius, Slinger’s athletic director, played in his final Faculty versus Senior game on Friday, as he is retiring after this year.

Both teams had strong line-ups that were many players deep. The faculty had 17 players and the senior team was comprised of 36 players.
