As a final show performed in the Slinger High School Auditorium, “Hello Dolly,” will be debuted the first weekend of November. The directors, cast, and crew have worked very hard and it has been quite an interesting journey for them. This show was the first to be put on in the Auditorium when it opened up, so it will also be the last. Directors Heidi Lofy, Emily Lofy, and Joanne Husslein, have all been involved in past “Hello Dolly” shows and put their creative minds to work to reconstruct it at Slinger High School. Emily Lofy stated that it was a very different process for this show than other shows. With help of dance captains, Brady Hattori and Katy Dano, and an outside choreographer, the dancing in the show has become intriguing, with many different styles. Emily Lofy is excited to see lead Sam Friedamann in his first large role and equally excited about seeing the performances of many of the other upperclassman in the cast. The seniors, who have worked especially hard, have a bittersweet feeling for this show. Seniors are: Jaden Schmidt, Katy Dano, Alex Feldhusen, Sam Friedaman, Darius Miller, Phillip Steenbekkers, Graham Thomas, Robbie Timmler, Matthew Mehl, Alexandrea Dupont, Becca Rodenkirch, Renee Wagner, Kali Hottenroth, Alison Koerner, and Spencer Gruedemann. Shows are November 3rd at 7pm, November 4 at 7pm, and November 5 at 2pm. Tickets are on sale now!
