Many people think that slavery ended approximately 150 years ago, but today it prevails in the notorious form: human trafficking for prostitution. On March 26, presenters discussing human trafficking came to Slinger High so that students and staff can understand more on the withstanding prostitution lingering in our society. The main speaker herself being a victim explained to us the effects of human trafficking on young adults and how affected individuals can be identified and guided to a better and healthier life. More information can be found on how to support Lacey’s Hope Project in aiding those who have suffered greatly by visiting

www.laceyshopeproject.org. With great optimism, Slinger High thanks the speakers on behalf of Lacey’s Hope project for informing students and staff and hope great success in the guidance of troubled women everywhere.
