SHS Seniors and Juniors Tour Milwaukee Art Museum

On March 29th, 2017, Mrs. Erdmann’s “Great Minds of the Western World” classes travelled to the Milwaukee Art Museum to see the pieces they discuss in class come to life. The classes broke up into several groups and were given private tours where the guides shared secret stories behind the paintings and sculptures and mini-biographies of the artists. The students had to fill out a packet, which including filling in blanks to create a poem about their favorite painting there. The group stopped at Chinese buffet before returning just before the end of the school day.
