SHS Students Competing at State Level

Yesterday, students huddled into the gym and cheered for their fellow classmates who made it to State this year. Both the Equestrian Team and Cross Country are sending students to compete at the state level this weekend. The Equestrian team is made up of Macy Ragsdale, Brooke Kiefer, Kayla Ormiston, and Brandy Bichel and will be competing in Madison. Cross Country is sending (for girls) Paige Fassbender, Makaila Groves, Hannah Kurth, Ellie McMeeken, Kelly Gresser, Teresa Wolf, and Abby Gehring with alternate Jennifer Blair and (for boys) Augie Beyer, Cael Grotenhuis, Noah Jagielski, Tyler Ott, Aaron Simays, Evan Sievers, and Ethan Schmidt with alternate Will MacCudden. They will be competing in Wisconsin Rapids. Other exciting news: the football team is advancing in the playoffs and will be playing Waunakee, at Waunakee, tonight! If you see any of these superb students before they leave, make sure to wish them luck!
