Therapy, as in treatment to help individuals struggling with normalcy. Add some dogs into it, and then it becomes more user-friendly. On Tuesday, May 21, I met with Bob Mortellaro to learn more about the dog-therapy offered to Slinger High. I also met Puccini, a four year old Havanese therapy dog who loves to share his affection with on goers. Not only does he love to be pet, but he also loves chasing after tennis balls with his owner, Bob. Bob brought Puccini to Slinger to relieve the stress students take in throughout the day, especially right after AP exams week. Luckily for Puccini, he had a lot of visitors to meet with. Of course Puccini wasn’t the only therapy dog. There were various dogs visiting throughout the day to comfort anxious students. Thank you to Slinger High School Staff for your consideration of students.
