The Rookery Is Open For Business

The Rookery is presently the only store that’s run by students and made for them. I asked Mrs. Smessaert, the organizer of The Rookery questions about the Rookery’s effect on the High School . Mrs. Smessaert stated , “I think it has brought up the school spirit. It has given so many more people the chance to show their pride. It has provided a hands on learning environment. It has helped raise food items to donate to the pantry. In all it has been a positive thing!”. Mrs. Smessaert mentioned that the best part about the Rookery was, ”seeing how much the students learn and the real world work experience they get out of it!”. Future plans for the Rookery include continuing to improve the stores fixtures and installing new glass doors and lighting. They also are in the process of making a kiosk to sell gear at sporting events. New this year at the Rookery is merchandise with awesome new looks, graphics, and style. Also new this year is the popular Spirit Jerseys. Stay tuned for more exciting Rookery news!
