Alec Baldwin is the Boss Baby

The Boss Baby is about Tim (voiced by Miles Christopher Bakshi), a seven year old, and his family: Dad (voiced by Jimmy Kimmel) and Mom (voiced by Lisa Kudrow), who both work at Dog Corp. Suddenly, Tim’s world turns upside down with the new arrival of the Boss Baby (voiced by Alec Baldwin), Tim’s new brother, who’s actually a secret baby employee from Baby Corp. As days go by, the Boss Baby takes control of the household, so that he can complete his mission of finding out what the new puppy that Dog Corp, who is a competitor of Baby Corp, is making and stop it, so that babies will get more love than puppies. Tim finds out about the Boss Baby’s true identity and tries to show his parents hoping that it will get rid of the baby, but fails. This shows the Boss Baby that Tim could help him in complete his mission in that they dislike each other and want to get rid of each other, so the two team up to find a file on the new puppy and stop the launch of it.

The Boss Baby is mixed bag of some good messages and jokes, but also some immature potty humor too. Alec Baldwin is great as the Boss Baby. He gives the character personality of a quick witted, but pompous business man that is thrown into a situation that he has never been in before. The animation is great, especially with the different movements and facial reactions of the Boss Baby. The film also deals with the theme of sibling rivalry and the emotions of being the big brother or sister.The weakness of the Boss Baby is while one or two of the potty jokes were funny, there was just some many of them that were just unnecessary and awkward. The Baby Boss gets 7.5/10.
