The 60 Yard Line is an independent film about Ben Zagowski (played by Ryan Churchill) a Green Bay Packer fanboy and his friend Nick Polano (played by Nick Greco) a Bears fan who lives in Green Bay. Nick and his fiance Amy (played by Kimberley Crossman) finally have enough money saved up to pay for their wedding. On a whim, Nick sees that a house right next to Lambeau field is for sale and he buys it, ruining their big plans. Now with this new development, Amy wonders if Ben is ever going to marry her and decides to leave him shortly after Ben makes the house Packer themed. He spends most his time partying with Packer players and watching the Packers. Later he decides he wants Amy back, so he tries to get his life together.

The 60 Yard Line shows Packer pride, but is dragged down by its story.

The acting is fine, but nothing to brag about. The comedy has its moments especially from Randall Park as Trapper, a peculiar man who has been a renter in the house that Ben bought since the ‘89 Packer season. The House itself when it’s full of Packer stuff is interesting and cool to look at. The film though strains from a predictable story that steals from other films like Fever Pitch and The Wedding Singer. The 60 Yard Line gets 6/10.
