Christmas Vacation is the classic christmas comedy about the Griswolds family: Clark (played by Chevy Chase), Ellen (played by Beverly D’Angelo), and their two kids Audrey (played by Juliette Lewis) and Rusty (played by Johnny Galecki) having a big family Christmas that turns into an utter disaster once the relatives arrival. So it’s up to Clark and Ellen to keep everything together, while dealing with the grandparents always fighting and trying to find the perfect tree.

Christmas Vacation is a great movie that has humor, heart, and acting. The thing that makes Christmas Vacation great is Chevy Chase and the humor. Chevy Chase’s charm and comic timing makes the film funny and heartwarming. Clark’s mission to try in make the perfect Christmas, while the odds are stacked against shows how Clark just wants everyone to enjoy Christmas like he does. Also Randy Quaid is good as the dirty and poor Cousin Eddie, who has some funny moments with Chase that adds to the film. Christmas Vacation gets a 4.9/5 stars.
