The Ghostbusters are back in one the most controversial remake of all time, with being the most hated movie trailer on Youtube with 507,610 dislikes and hardcore fans of the original 1984 Ghostbusters film saying that they were going to boycott the film. With this in mind, is the hate against this new female Ghostbusters remake warrenton or unnecessarily?

Ghostbusters(2016) is about scientists and friends Erin Gilbert (played by Kristen Wiig) and Abby Yates (played by Melissa McCarthy), who are true believers in the paranormal, gets a call from Ed Mulgrave (played by Ed Begley Jr.), who says that his museum is haunted. So Erin, Abby, and engineer Jullian Holtzmann (played by Kate McKinnon), who makes the ghostbusting equipment go to investigate and ends up finding an actually ghost. This leads Erin, Abby, and Jullian to go into business investigating ghost, which leads them to New York subway worker Patty Tolan (played by Leslie Jones), who encountered a ghost on the subway tracks and calls them up. From there the four women become the Ghostbusters and go around New York City investigating the different ghost appearances and how they're connected.

Ghostbusters(2016) is a good film, but is not as good as the original 1984 Ghostbusters film, who all have cameos in this film. In the end, Ghostbusters(2016) is a very funny film with intense action scenes and good acting that tries hard, but can’t pass up the original Ghostbusters.
