Game Night is about Max (played by Jason Bateman) and Annie (played by Rachel McAdams) a married couple who are very competitive at game night along with the other couples they play with like Kevin (played by Lamorne Morris) and Sarah (played by Sharon Horgan) who have been together since Elementary School and Ryan (played by Billy Magnussen) who brings random girls that he finds attractive, but aren’t that bright. So one game night, Max’s rich brother Brooks (played by Kyle Chandler) shows up and afterwards says that next game is at his house. So next game night, Brooks says that there are going to do a murder mystery party. Suddenly Brooks is captured, but not by the guys that he hired for the game. So the couples go out and follow the clues that leads them into a dangerous game that they will never forget.
Game Night is a action packed comedy that is full of twists and turns. The acting is great especially the chemistry between Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams. The action scenes are doing pretty good, while also throwing in a few jokes and quips in there too. The comedy is excellent and the characters have great comic timing. The events and clues that happen throughout the movie are interesting and leads to great twists. The weakness of the film is that one or two jokes aren’t that funny, but don’t detract from the experience. Game Night gets 9/10 stars.
