Half-empty bottles
The clack of the tracks
The shake of the house
On its foundations
Whiskey doesn't do much
To settle its nerves.
Trembling hands
Trembling trinkets
An earthquake is coming
The train whistle blows.
Thinking is hard when everything's moving
The bottle might tip
He might lose all the whiskey.
The smell of macadamia
The feel of old paper
I can't feel my toes
It's so cold in the winter
A crash
A whistle
The click of a lock
Flashing lights
Opening the flask
