Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone dance and sing in the new musical: La La Land

La La Land is about Sebastian (played by Ryan Gosling), a jazz pianist who dreams of opening his own Jazz Club, and Mia (played by Emma Stone), a struggling actress who has dreams of hitting it big time and becoming a famous actress. At a party, Mia meets up with Sebastian and they “hit it off”. The rest of the film is about their relationship and both of them striving for their dreams.

La La Land is a film where everything about it--the camerawork, lighting, set design, dancing, singing, acting--makes the film something that has never been seen before. Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone have great chemistry and create a believable couple--plus their dancing and singing is great. The music is jazzy and keeps the audience entertained. The film is a great call back to the musicals of the past. The music numbers have great choreography and the camera films them perfectly, so it’s a wonder to watch. La La Land gets 10/10 stars.
