Ryan Gosling unlocks secrets of the past in Blade Runner 2049.

Blade Runner 2049 is the long awaited sequel to the Science Fiction classic Blade Runner. In Blade Runner 2049, K (played by Ryan Gosling) a blade runner whose job is to take out all the old model replicants. Replicants are robots that were used for slave labor, but turned against their masters and tried to create their own society. While on a job, K finds a box buried in the ground, which has bones of a replicant who gave birth. With this information, K’s boss Lieutenant Joshi (played by Robin Wright) tells K to find the replicant baby and kill it before it can be found. However K is not the only one looking for the baby. The Wallace company, the company that has been making new versions of Replicants, wants to find the baby and study it. So it’s up to K to find the baby before the Wallace Company does.

Blade Runner 2049 adds on to the world of Blade Runner in an interesting and complex way. The acting is amazing. The action is violent and gritty. The visuals are beautiful to look at and the movie has the looks of the first Blade Runner. The twists are interesting and keeps the audience guessing. Blade Runner 2049 gets 10/10 stars.
