Captain James T. Kirk (played by Chris Pine) and the crew of the Enterprise like First Officer Spock (played by Zachary Quinto), Doctor ‘Bones’ McCoy (played by Karl Urban), Ship Engineer Scotty (played by Simon Pegg), Navigation Officer Sulu (played by John Cho), Co-Navigator Officer Chekov (played by Anton Yelchin), and Communication Officer Lieutenant Uhura (played by Zoe Saldana) go out into uncharted space where they’re ambushed by Krall (played by Idris Elba) who attacked the Enterprise to steal a part of an bioweapon that he is going to use to kill Starfleet and the Federation for good. The ambush on the Enterprise leaves the ship and it’s crew stranded or captured by Krall with the odds stacked against them and only each other with the help of Jaylah (played by Sofia Boutella) who was once a prisoner of Krall to stop Krall and save the Federation.

Star Trek Beyond is a very entertaining and interesting movie that is a nice addition to the Star Trek Franchise, which has spanned for decades from the original (1979-1991), the next generation (1994-2002), and the reboots(2009-2016). The film was also dedicated to the late Leonard Nimoy and the recent decease Anton Yelchin who died of blunt traumatic asphyxia June 19th, 2016. In the end, Star Trek Beyond has good action scenes, great characters, and story that was written by Simon Pegg, a big fan of the Star Trek Universe.
