In the Slinger Girls Varsity Soccer Teams first game on April 5th they played the Plymouth Panthers at home and won 3-0. On April 7th they played another home game against the Sussex Hamilton Chargers and were defeated 0-6 in a cold dreary game. The next match for the Lady Owls was at home again on April 12th against Green Bay Southwest, a team that was number two at the State tournament last season. It was an exciting game of two evenly matched teams and the score proved just that, the game ending in a 1-1 draw with Charmaine Dee scoring for the Owls. On April 14th the Owls traveled up to Oshkosh North and lost to the Spartans 0-4. In an exciting Saturday Parents night game the ladies played Kettle Moraine Lutheran and dominated winning 5-1, with goals from Charmaine Dee (2), CaSandra Warmsley, Paige Semrau, and Ali Wolf. They kicked off conference play with a home game against the Oconomowoc Raccoons on April 19th. It was another tough game for the Owls, both teams showing up to play hard and neither team conceded a goal, the game ending in a 0-0 draw. The next game, at home versus Menominee Falls, was a very tough match, with lots of aggressive, competitive play. The Lady Owls ended up loosing 0-1, but played with a whole lot of heart. The second conference game of the season was April 26th at West Bend East. The two teams went back and forth the entire match, neither budging an inch giving the Owls their second tie (0-0) in conference.
