Slinger Loses to East, Looks ahead to Hartford

The Slinger Owls varsity tennis team fell to last season’s Little Ten conference champions, West Bend East, on Wednesday, September 9 with a final score of 2-6. The match was cancelled Tuesday and rescheduled for Wednesday following rain showers Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday’s victories for the Owls included a number one singles win from senior Emma Sievers and a third set win from senior Kylie Coffin at number four singles. The team will face conference rival, Hartford, on Thursday, September 10 at 4:00 pm on Slinger’s courts.
