Slinger Wrestling Victorious over Watertown

On Tuesday night, the Slinger wrestling team travelled to Watertown High School to compete in a dual meet against the Goslings. The varsity team won 48-20 over Watertown. Seven of the Slinger wrestlers pinned their opponents: Hudson Mountjoy, Logan Stegemeyer, Adam Beine, Gavin Skinner, Aaron Sonneson, Matthaus Kemp and Chris Melius. There were also wins from Caleb Kovacevich and Caleb Ziebell.

In the JV portion of the meet, Mikey Metowski pinned his opponent, and there were team wins from Nate Balestrierie, Justin Schmidt, Tim Gehring and Mike Schuster.

The Owls compete in their next dual meet on Thursday night against the Hartford Orioles. Come out to support Slinger’s wrestling team!
